Cetylmyristoleate is a waxy substance at room temperature, but a clear, light yellow oily material at body temperature. It can be laid upon an absorbent bed of powder, and the end product compressed into a tablet, or it can be encapsulated into a two-piece hard-shell capsule, or a gelatin soft-shell capsule.
